All you need to play is Macromedia Flash Player 7 or higher.
N is one of the best games I ever played. It is also one of the hardest games I ever played. There are some games I haven't beaten yet, but in the foreseeable that will be untrue. I may never beat N: ever.
With that being said it is also one of the few games that dying is a reward in and of itself. Strange, but true.
It is a platformer in the purest sense, jump on platforms to get to the exit. The game only uses three keys: left arrow, right arrow, and shift for jumping. Use keys (
) to unlock doors or the actually exit and avoid everything that isn't a safe platform. The devil is in the details, but if you try maybe you'll see the beauty of the enticing beast.

Jump off the walls to get to the top left and get the key. Pick up the yellow pellets for life. Your life drains over time.
The best part of the game is the Rude Goldberg Death Machine that start rolling once you die. Watching your stick figure die is the funniest part sometimes.
Pretty intense jumping skills are needed to either avoid the red bombs if you take the low road or avoid the lasers, rockets, and the blue circles taking the high road.
Plain and simple if you ever played a platformer (
) you need to play this game because it is fun all around.
